'Nicole'

This is a recent print reproduction for Louisa in her Irish Water Spaniel World.

The oil painting was commissioned for the USA Speciality in  '05  fetching a very

healthy price in the fund raising auction. It was based on a little 'coleen' playing

Louisa's bohran with the milleninum sun setting on the last day of the 19th century.

The Water Spaniel is  'Zara' from Drumbonaway Kennels, N. Ireland

Louisa was introduced to her 1st Real Live Water Spaniel when she was 6 years old

and already quite experienced in her dog and animal paintings. She remembers the

experience as almost unreal as the breed fascinated her.  It was  St. Patrick's

day in Dublin and like everyone else in the city the Dog Show in the R.D.S.

(Royal Dublin Society) was the traditional place to go because it was the only

venue in 'Good Old Dublin City' where one could get an alcoholic drink.

Where would the Irish be without their 'Pint' on Paddy's Day?
