I love these little 'BIG' dogs.  Abundant with courage and vitality as they waddle along.

Once apon a time..........I was at a large fair in Dublin which was held very weekend on an old race course.  There was hundreds of people about.  As I wandered along weaving in and out of the crowd suddenly a 'vision' appeared in front of me, like Clint Eastwood in 'a fist full of dollars'.  The people in the thronging crowd moved back to make way for the dirty, dusty fawn coloured character as he moved regally through the Sunday afternoon punters.  I tried to greet him but he choose to ignore me and kept moving along with a shrug of his proud furry tail raised like a flag.  I approached the nearest stall and inquired of the owner if he knew who the owner of the 'Glen Terrier' was?   He looked at me and replied in his strong Dublin accent, "a wha' (a what) I don't give a fiddler's wha' breed he is but I wish his bleedin' owner would keep him locked up cus' he nearly killed my Rothweiler and I have to keep him locked in my van, the damn thing is here every Sunday like he owned the Bleedin' place!!
